Vegan Brownie
A vegan brownie and a glass of cold soy milk make a great combo. Great for an after-school treat or an after-dinner dessert.
Ingredients
1/2 cup flour
1/2 cup carob powder
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup (1 stick) vegan margarine
1 cup sugar
2 egg replacer (egg replacer equivalent to 2 eggs)
1 tsp vanilla
1 cup walnuts (if desired)
Directions
Combine flour, carob powder, and baking powder.
Melt vegan margarine over low heat. Remove from heat and stir in sugar. Stir in egg replacer and add vanilla, blending well. Stir in flour completely and add nuts.
Spread batter into greased 9 x 9 inch baking pan. Bake at 350 degrees about 25 minutes. Cut into sqaures.
